パキスタンで列車襲撃“100人以上人質”反政府武装勢力が声明
パキスタン南西部で武装した集団が400人以上の乗客が乗っていたとされる列車を襲撃しました。この地域の分離独立を求める反政府武装勢力が声明を出して多数を人質にとったと主張しましたが、詳しい状況は明らかになっていません。
パキスタン南西部バロチスタン州で11日、州都クエッタから北西部ペシャワルに向かっていた列車が武装した集団から襲撃を受けました。
地元メディアによりますと、列車には400人以上が乗っていて、鉄道当局によりますと、これまでに運転手1人がけがをしたということです。
襲撃について、バロチスタン州の分離独立を求める反政府武装勢力「バロチスタン解放軍」が声明を出し、列車に乗っていた100人以上を人質にとったと主張しました。
救出にあたる治安部隊との間で銃撃戦になっているという情報もありますが、詳しい状況は明らかになっていません。
バロチスタン州ではパキスタン政府が中国と連携し資源開発や港湾施設の整備を進めていますが、バロチスタン解放軍はこうした開発を「不当な搾取」だとして反発し、これまでもたびたびテロを起こしています。
