PayPay カードの一部サービスで SMS 認証廃止、今後は生体認証かパスコード認証が必要に
PayPayカード株式会社は5月19日、一部サービスでのSMS認証の廃止について発表した。
同社ではセキュリティ強化の一環として、PayPayアプリの一部サービスでSMS認証による本人確認を廃止し、5月19日から対象サービスを利用する際は生体認証（指紋・顔）、またはパスコード認証が必要となる。
対象サービスは、カード情報の確認、顧客情報の確認と変更、家族カードの顧客情報の確認と変更。
同社では、生体認証・パスコードが未設定の場合は必ず設定するよう呼びかけている。
