警察や消防によりますと、22日未明、相模原市中央区の路上で「友人の男性が殴られたようだ」と女性から119番通報があり、消防が現場に駆けつけたところ、市内に住む17歳の高校2年の男子生徒が倒れているのが見つかりました。

現場には通報した女性を含め複数の人がいて、捜査関係者によりますと、男子生徒には繰り返し殴られたような跡があったということです。

警察は男子生徒が事件に巻き込まれたとみて、現場にいた人たちから話を聞くなどして捜査しています。
