アメリカのトランプ政権は18日、戦争犯罪などを裁くICC＝国際刑事裁判所について「腐敗し、政治化された超国家的な裁判所で、悪意を持って権限を乱用している」などと主張し、トップを務める赤根智子所長らを制裁対象に加えると発表しました。
トランプ政権はこれまでもアフガニスタンで戦闘に加わったアメリカ兵の戦争犯罪の捜査を承認したり、イスラエルのネタニヤフ首相らに戦争犯罪などの疑いで逮捕状を出したりしたことを非難し、関係する裁判官や検察官に制裁を科してきました。
