カシオ計算機は、腕時計ブランド「PRO TREK」(プロトレック)の新作として、ハイエンドモデル「PRW-B1000」のカラーバリエーション「PRW-B1000B-2」を発売した。Bluetooth電波ソーラーの腕時計で、価格は89,100円。 ブルーグレーIPによる、ベゼル部分の淡いブルーカラーが特徴。米国・ヨセミテの静謐な空気や切り立った花崗岩をイメージしたという。クロスバンドは難燃加工が施され、素材には100%リサイクルナイロンの「CORDURA re/COR」(コーデュラ リコーア)が採用されている。 ベースモデル「PRW-B1000」もヨセミテがテーマになっており、9時位置の小針はロッククライミングの「ピトン」がモチーフ。角型のステンレススチール製ベゼルはヨセミテの巨大岩盤をイメージしたソリッドなデザインで、サイドボタンやリューズも大型のメタルパーツになっている。 Bluetoothでスマートフォンアプリ「CASIO WATCHES」と連携でき、自動時刻修正や各種の設定変更をアプリから可能。現在地を記録するロケーションメモリーや、任意の場所の方角を時計側で示すロケーションインジケーターなども利用できる。 クオーツ式ムーブメント(モジュールNo.5741)を搭載。-10℃までの耐低温仕様で10気圧防水。風防は内面反射防止コーティングのサファイアガラス。タフソーラー、スマートフォンリンク、標準電波受信、トリプルセンサーによる方位・気圧・高度・温度計測、日の出・日の入時刻表示に対応する。 ワールドタイム(55都市)、ストップウォッチ(1/100秒)、タイマー、時刻アラーム・時報、フルオートカレンダー、操作音ON/OFF切替、針位置自動補正、パワーセービング、バッテリーインジケーター表示、12/24時間制表示切替、針退避、フルオートダブルLEDライト(ホワイト)の各機能を搭載する。 フル充電時からソーラー発電無しの状態での駆動時間は、機能使用の場合で約6カ月、パワーセービング状態の場合で約24カ月。本体サイズは50.8×45.8×14.9mm、重量は75g。
