7月31日、フォルクスワーゲン ジャパンは、限定車「ID. Buzz 1st Anniversary Edition」を発表した。フル電動ミニバンであるID. Buzzの日本導入1周年を記念して企画された、全国70台限定の特別仕様車だ。 本モデルは、ID. Buzzが持つ独自の世界観とデザイン性をさらに強く訴求するために導入されたという。グレードは標準ボディの「Pro」と、ロングホイールベースの「Pro Long Wheelbase」の2種類が設定されている。

通常モデルとの違いとして、まず両グレード共通の特別装備に、専用ボディカラーである明るいブルーとホワイトのツートーンカラーである、「キャンディホワイトおよびミディアムブルーメタリック」を設定した。 標準ボディのPro 1st Anniversary Editionは、通常モデルのアップグレードパッケージ付き車両がベース。内装色には専用のブルーとミストラルが採用されている。足回りについては、通常モデルのProが19インチアルミホイールを装着するのに対し、本限定車ではPro Long Wheelbaseの標準ホイールとして人気の高い20インチアルミホイール「Stockton」を標準装備とした。 一方、ロングホイールベースの「Pro Long Wheelbase 1st Anniversary Edition」は、通常モデルのラグジュアリーパッケージ付き車両がベース。こちらの専用内装色は、ミストラルとミストラルの組み合わせだ。さらに、シート素材も通常モデルと違い、ファブリックシートに代わって、新たに明るいカラーのマイクロフリースシートを採用した。

車両本体価格は、ID. Buzz Pro 1st Anniversary Editionが¥9,797,000、ID. Buzz Pro Long Wheelbase 1st Anniversary Editionが¥10,528,000だ。
