CIC、信用情報のネット開示を10月再開 マイナカードで本人確認強化
信用情報機関のシー・アイ・シー(CIC)は、不正な申込みの事案発生を受け一時停止している「インターネット開示」サービスを、10月9日に再開する予定と発表した。再開後は、マイナンバーカードを用いて本人確認を強化する。手続き方法は改めて案内される。
CICは、ユーザーが自身の信用情報の開示を請求できる「インターネット開示」のサービスを提供していたが、4月、本人になりすました開示請求で第三者に情報を開示した可能性があると公表、サービスを一時停止していた。当初は22名の不正申込みと情報開示の可能性があるとしていたが、最終的には36名に拡大した。
CICはインターネット開示のサービス再開にあたり、同様の事案の発生を防ぐため、マイナンバーカードを用いた本人確認の強化を行なう。
なお、従来から提供されている、郵送による開示申込み(郵送開示)は引き続き利用可能。インターネット開示の再開までは、郵送開示手数料が1,500円から500円に引き下げられている。現在、郵送開示は多数の申込みがあり、開示報告書の発送までに3週間程度かかる見込みとしている。
CICは、クレジット会社の共同出資で設立された信用情報機関で、割賦販売法および貸金業法に基づく指定信用情報機関として唯一指定を受けている機関。主に割賦販売や消費者ローンなどのクレジット事業を営む企業が会員になっている。
