福島 浪江町 津島地区 住民の手による初の「桜まつり」 開催
東京電力福島第一原発の事故による避難指示が一部で解除されてから先月で2年がたった福島県浪江町津島地区で、住民の手による初めての「桜まつり」が開かれ、訪れた人たちが和太鼓の演奏や地区の桜をめぐるツアーなどを楽しみました。
浪江町津島地区はおととし3月、原発事故による避難指示が一部で解除されましたが、2年たった今も地区に住む人はおよそ20人にとどまっています。
今月13日に開かれた「つしま桜まつり」は、地区を訪れる人を増やすきっかけ作りにしたいと、住民らが初めて企画しました。
会場になった町の施設では、和太鼓チームによる演奏や飲食物の出店などがあり、町の内外から大勢が訪れました。
かつて住民に愛された地区の桜をめぐるツアーでは、小学校の校庭のソメイヨシノやかつて町の支所だった建物の前にあるしだれ桜などを回り、参加した人は開花したばかりの桜を眺めたりカメラに収めたりしていました。
ツアーに参加した70代の男性は「満開ではありませんでしたが、いろんな桜を撮影できました。原発事故のあとが見える場所もあり、意義深いツアーでした」と話していました。
主催者の1人で津島地区出身の末永利和さんは「桜を通じて津島の風景や地域に興味を持ってもらい、交流の輪に参加する人が増えるとうれしいです」と話していました。
