自民 高市氏 食料品の軽減税率 “ゼロ％に引き下げるべき”
消費税の扱いをめぐり、自民党の高市・前経済安全保障担当大臣は物価高で困っている国民を支えるため、食料品を対象とする軽減税率をゼロ％に引き下げるべきだという考えを示しました。
高市氏は13日夜、インターネット番組「真相深入り！虎ノ門ニュース」に出演しました。
この中で高市氏は、物価高を受けた消費税の扱いについて「みんなが等しく食べるものについて、税率がゼロというのはハッピーな話だ。本当に困っている人がいる時に国が減税を惜しむことはおかしい」と述べ、食料品を対象とする軽減税率をゼロ％に引き下げるべきだという考えを示しました。
また、石破総理大臣が参議院選挙を前に税率の引き下げを打ち出すことに否定的な考えを示したことについて「わが党のトップが、ああいった答弁だったのでかなりがっかりしている」と不満を示しました。
さらに、党の税制調査会が始める消費税に関する勉強会について「意見が割れている時に、党のトップが答弁で『消費減税は考えていない』という趣旨のことを言ってしまうと、この先の勉強会は『消費税は社会保障の重要な財源だ』と説得するために開くのかなという疑心暗鬼がある」と述べました。
