中国内陸部・重慶で、17日、山の斜面が崩れて多くの住宅が巻き込まれ、これまでに8人が死亡し、30人余りと連絡が取れなくなっています。

中国国営の新華社通信などによりますと、17日午前、内陸部・重慶の彭水ミャオ族トゥチャ族自治県で山の斜面が崩れ、多くの住宅が巻き込まれました。

国営の中国中央テレビが伝えた映像では、住宅などが大量の土砂に埋まったり、がれきが散乱したりしている様子が確認できます。

現場では、消防などが捜索を続けていますが、大きな岩が多く、さらなる崩落といった二次災害のおそれもあるため捜索は難航しているということです。

こうした中、習近平国家主席は重要指示を出し、適切に捜索や救助活動を行い二次災害の防止に対応するとともに、原因を究明し安全対策を徹底するよう強調しました。
