グーグル、Geminiで「NotebookLM」を使える新機能「ノートブック」

Googleは8日(米国時間)、NotebookLMの機能をGeminiアプリ上で実現する新機能「notebooks(ノートブック)」を発表した。Web版のGoogle AI Ultra、Pro、Plusの契約者から順次展開し、今後数週間でモバイル版や欧州の多くの国々、無料ユーザーへ提供を拡大していく。 自分専用のAIデータベースを作れる「NotebookLM」の機能をGeminiに統合。GeminiとNotebookLMが連携し、Geminiアプリ内のチャットやプロジェクトを整理して、学習や業務をよりスムーズに進められるようにする。 ノートブックは、Geminiを起点として、Googleの各プロダクトで共有される「パーソナルナレッジベース」となる。チャットやPDFファイルなどを整理するための専用スペースが用意され、NotebookLMと同期するため、Geminiとのやりとりをノートブックにまとめて保存・整理し、あとから呼び出せる。 Geminiアプリのサイドパネルにある「(新しいノートブック)」をクリックして始められ、過去のチャットをノートブックに移動したり、Geminiにカスタム指示を与えられるほか、ドキュメントやPDFなどを追加して、Geminiの応答のための新たな文脈を追加できる。 ノートブックの知識に基づいた回答のみを得られるため、特定の業務の専用データベースや学習用スペースとして活用できる。 また、Geminiアプリで作成したノートブックについて、NotebookLMの「ビデオ概要」や「インフォグラフィック」といった独自機能を利用して、ビデオ付きのスライド作成なども可能となる。 Last year, we integrated into the @GeminiApp by allowing you to upload your notebooks as sources.
