セブン銀行新型ATM、全国に設置完了
セブン銀行は、日本全国への新型ATMの設置が完了し、合計28,000台に達したと発表した。対象となるのは、2019年から導入を進めてきた第4世代の新型ATMで、すべてのATMが多機能型へと刷新された。

新型ATMは、セブンイレブンなどセブン＆アイグループの店舗だけでなく、空港や駅、商業施設、観光地など全国に設置されている。従来の現金入出金機能に加え、顔認証やQRコードの読取、本人確認書類のスキャン機能などを備え、各種行政や民間手続きにも対応できるサービスプラットフォームとしての活用を想定している。
加えて、環境配慮にも取り組み、消費電力とCO2排出量を従来比で約40％削減。ユニバーサルデザインにも配慮し、大型ディスプレイや荷物置き・つえ置きスペースを設けるなど、誰でも使いやすい設計となっている。
新型ATMでは、銀行口座の開設や住所変更などの手続きが可能な「ATM窓口」、ATM画面を通じた情報通知とアンケート機能を持つ「ATMお知らせ」、顔認証とパスコードで現金を引き出せる「FACE CASH」といったサービスが提供されている。
