外食大手コロワイド カフェ・ベローチェなどの運営会社 買収へ

外食大手のコロワイドは、「カフェ・ベローチェ」などのコーヒーチェーンを運営する会社をおよそ440億円を投じて買収すると発表しました。原材料や人件費の上昇が進む中、外食業界では、複数の業態を手がけて食材調達の効率化などを図る動きが相次いでいます。

回転ずしや焼き肉チェーンの運営会社を傘下に持つコロワイドは、「カフェ・ベローチェ」や「珈琲館」など、全国で560店舗余りのコーヒーチェーンを運営する「C-United」を買収すると発表しました。

コロワイドは、おととし（2024年）、洋菓子の製造や販売を行う会社を買収していて、新たにコーヒーチェーンをグループに取り込むことで相乗効果を図る考えです。

外食業界では、原材料や人件費の上昇が進む中、牛丼チェーンの吉野家ホールディングスや、レストラン大手のすかいらーくホールディングスが、ラーメンや、うどんチェーンを買収するなど、業態の異なる会社を傘下に収め、食材調達などの効率化や経営リスクの分散を図る動きが相次いでいます。
