江藤農相“コメ値下がり 時間かかる可能性も価格安定に期待”
江藤農林水産大臣は、10日から始まった備蓄米の入札に関連して、スーパーなどでの店頭価格の値下がりには一定の時間がかかる可能性はあるものの、コメの価格安定につながることに期待する考えを示しました。
コメの価格高騰が続く中、農林水産省は、流通の円滑化を目的に10日から備蓄米15万トンを対象にした入札を始めています。
これに関連して江藤農林水産大臣は、11日の閣議のあとの会見で「スーパーなどの小売業者は、これまで高い価格で仕入れを行っていて、仕入れ価格に見合った値段で売らなければ利益が出ないという事情がある。在庫がある程度はけるまでは店頭価格は下がらないかもしれない」と述べ、店頭でのコメの値下がりには一定の時間がかかる可能性があるという見方を示しました。
その一方で「入札の結果、良い方向に需給が緩和され、価格についても安定することを望んでいる」と述べ、備蓄米の放出が結果的に、コメの価格安定につながることに期待する考えを示しました。
