　独立行政法人情報処理推進機構（IPA）および一般社団法人JPCERT コーディネーションセンター（JPCERT/CC）は8月25日、Apache Struts 2におけるリソース枯渇の脆弱性について「Japan Vulnerability Notes（JVN）」で発表した。野口晋義氏が報告を行っている。影響を受けるシステムは以下の通り。

Apache Struts 2 バージョン6.0.0から6.10.0 Apache Struts 2 バージョン7.0.0から7.2.1

　The Apache Software Foundationが提供するApache Struts 2には、制限または調整無しのリソースの割り当ての脆弱性（CVE-2026-73635）が存在し、ヒープメモリが枯渇し、当該機器をサービス運用妨害（DoS）にされる可能性がある。

　本脆弱性はバージョン7.3.0、6.11.0で修正されており、JVNでは開発者が提供する情報をもとに、最新版へアップデートするよう呼びかけている。

　なお、下記バージョンにも本脆弱性が存在するが、サポートが終了しているため修正されない。
