ザ・シチズン30周年、和紙ダイヤルの記念モデル
シチズン時計は、「The CITIZEN」(ザ・シチズン)の30周年を記念した限定モデル2製品を5月に発売する。ソーラー発電の高精度クオーツ式ムーブメントを搭載する腕時計で、価格は429,000円と451,000円。それぞれ世界限定400本。

「ザ・シチズン」は1995年に誕生し、2025年で30周年を迎える。記念モデルは「Iconic Nature Collection」(アイコニックネイチャー コレクション)にラインナップされ、日本人の美意識を反映し、⾃然の情趣を「にじみ」や「かすれ」の表現を用いた和紙ダイヤルの中に描き出したのが特徴。年差±5秒という高精度の光発電エコ・ドライブ ムーブメントを搭載する。
「AQ4106-00A」は「春の明け方の情景」がテーマ。ダイヤルは、早朝に雲がたなびくさまを、⻑い繊維を漉き込んだ独特の模様をもつ雲⿓紙に、空にも桜にも見える繊細な⾊彩で表現した。スーパーチタニウム製のケースはデュラテクトサクラピンクを施した華やかなゴールドカラーで、春の気配を感じられる1本とする。
「AQ4100-22L」は「夏の夜の情景」がテーマ。ダイヤルは川の水面に映る月明かりを、ジャパンブルーが印象的な藍染土佐和紙にグラデーションを重ねて表現した。秒針はゴールドカラーで、川のほとりに飛び交う蛍の光跡をイメージした。シルバーカラーのケースは、デュラテクトプラチナが施されたスーパーチタニウム製。
どちらも、年差±5秒の高精度エコ‧ドライブムーブメント「Cal.A060」を搭載。パワーセーブ作動時はフル充電時から約1.5年の駆動が可能。日付表示は2100年2月28日までカレンダー修正が不要なパーペチュアルカレンダー。針ズレを抑止する衝撃検知機能、針ズレが生じても自動修正する針自動補正機能、0時ジャストカレンダー更新機能を搭載する。
防水性能は10気圧防水。風防はクラリティ・コーティングが施されたデュアル球面サファイアガラス。ストラップはLWG認証を受けたタンナーで生産されたワニ革が使用される。本体サイズはケース径が38.3mm、厚さが12.2mm。
