今シーズンのバレンシアガは、美しい流線的なフォルムや独創的な色使いなど、大胆なプロポーションが際立つサングラスが大充実。いずれもスタイリングの主役になりうるモード色の濃い仕上がりとなっている。デザインコンシャスでありながらも人間工学に基づいてデザインしているので、フィット感はもちろん、つけ心地も抜群だ。
■BLADE
モードなインパクトを放つサングラスは、インジェクション成形プラスチックを駆使した、超スリムなラップアラウンドフレームが特徴。Balenciagaを象徴する人間工学に基づいてデザインしたノーズを備え、テンプル部分には同系色のロゴがあしらう。
■BOLT
クリアなブラックのアセテート仕様のスリムなスクウェアシェイプの逸品。テンプル部分にあしらった、Balenciagaロゴを上下に刻印したオーバーサイズのスクリューヘッド ディテールが、個性を放つ。クリアフレームの抜け感も魅力。
■SIGNATURE
レンズの周辺部を部分的に削り、磨いて艶を出すファセット加工を施したオーバルシェイプのサングラス。テンプルには贅沢なエナメル仕上げのBBロゴをあしらっている。フロント部分は斜めにカットするなど彫刻的に仕上げたアセテート仕様となっており、オーバーサイズのレンズを際立たせている。
