西日本高速道路は、先月の地震で通行止めが続いている南九州自動車道の区間のうち、八代南インターチェンジと田浦インターチェンジの間について、18日朝から上下線ともに通行止めを解除すると発表しました。
先月の地震の影響で、南九州自動車道はひび割れや路面のずれなどが発生したため、八代ジャンクションと田浦インターチェンジの間の上下線で通行止めが続いています。
このうち、八代南インターチェンジと田浦インターチェンジの間について、補修工事や安全確認が行われた結果、18日午前6時ごろから通行できる見通しが立ったということです。
一方、八代ジャンクションと八代南インターチェンジの間については、高架橋の復旧に時間がかかるとみられ、通行できる見通しは立っていません。
