駅ナカロッカー「マルチエキューブ」、ヤマトの荷物発送に対応
JR東日本の駅ナカなどに設置されている多機能ロッカー「マルチエキューブ」に「PUDOステーション」の発送機能が3月3日に追加される。これにより、マルチエキューブからヤマト運輸の荷物の発送が可能になる。

マルチエキューブは、JR東日本スマートロジスティクスが展開する多機能ロッカー。「予約」「預入」「受取」「発送」の4つの機能を備え、東京駅や新宿駅などに計460台を設置している。
3月3日からは、PUDOステーションの発送機能に対応。これにより、ヤマト運輸の荷物が駅で受け取れるほか、非対面・伝票レスで「発送」できるようになる。
発送可能時間は、各駅の始発～終電(一部ロッカーは24時間発送可)。対象の荷物は、「宅急便」「宅急便コンパクト」「ネコポス」。
