新型スバル アンチャーテッド登場!!! 新しいコンパクトSUVの特徴に迫る

7月18日、スバルは、グローバルバッテリーEVラインアップの第3弾となる新型「アンチャーテッド」を発表した。
新型スバル アンチャーテッドは、トヨタとスバルが、“もっといいクルマづくり”を目指して、互いに強みとする技術や知見を持ち寄り、両社のエンジニアが切磋琢磨しながら共同開発を進めたモデルだ。
プレスリリースには「コンパクトなサイズながら、バッテリーEVならではの走行性能と、使い勝手や取り回しの良さといった実用性を兼ね備えた、多様なお客様のライフスタイルに応えるSUVです」と、謳う。
ちなみに、アンチャーテッド（UNCHARTED）という車名は、「地図に載っていない、未知の」を、意味する。
新型スバル アンチャーテッドのエクステリアは、クリーンでシームレスなフロントフェイスを採用。ハイコントラストで凝縮感のあるボディが目をひく。
ボディサイズは、「ソルテラ」に対して全長を約170mm短くすることで、取り回しのよいボディサイズとしながらも、十分な荷室容量を確保する。
新型スバル アンチャーテッドのインテリアは、インパネまわりの造形をすっきりとした横基調とし、開放的で居心地のよい空間を表現したという。各所にはアンチャーテッド専用のオレンジ色の加飾を施す。
新型スバル アンチャーテッドは、74.7kWhの大容量リチウムイオンバッテリーを搭載。FWDモデルでは約300マイル以上、AWDモデルでは約280マイル以上の航続距離を確保した。
また、バッテリープレコンディショニング（急速充電の前にバッテリー本体の温度を調整する機能）を採用し、バッテリーを充電に最適な温度とすることで、充電量10%から80%までの急速充電時間を約30分とした。
さらに、ソルテラの改良モデルと新型「トレイルシーカー」に続き、充電ポートに北米充電規格（North American Charging Standard）を採用する。
走行性能面では、高出力モーター（FWDモデルは221ps、AWDモデルは338ps）を搭載。駆動方式には、新たなAWD制御も採用した。
新型スバル アンチャーテッドは、2026年に米国市場での導入を予定する。日本導入は未定だ。価格などは今後明かされる。
