　独立行政法人情報処理推進機構（IPA）および一般社団法人JPCERT コーディネーションセンター（JPCERT/CC）は8月27日、楽天Koboデスクトップアプリ（Windows版）のインストーラにおけるDLL読み込みに関する脆弱性について「Japan Vulnerability Notes（JVN）」で発表した。中村行宏氏が報告を行っている。影響を受けるシステムは以下の通り。

楽天Koboデスクトップアプリ（Windows版）の2026年7月15日より前に配布されたインストーラ

　Rakuten Kobo Inc.が提供する楽天Koboデスクトップアプリ（Windows版）のインストーラには、DLLを読み込む際の検索パスに問題があり、同一ディレクトリに存在する特定のDLLを読み込んでしまうファイル検索パスの制御不備の脆弱性（CVE-2026-68955）が存在し、細工されたDLLファイルを同じディレクトリに置いた状態でインストーラを実行すると、実行ユーザの権限で任意のコードが実行される可能性がある。

　JVNでは、製品をインストールする際は最新版のインストーラを使用するよう呼びかけている。なお本脆弱性は、インストーラの起動時のみ悪用が可能で、すでに製品をインストールしている場合、再インストールする必要はない。
