10月1日スタートの「NHK ONE」 防災アプリも新規インストールを
NHKは25年10月1日、新しいインターネットサービス「NHK ONE」をスタートする。これに伴い、「NHKプラス」「NHKニュース防災」「NHK for School」の現行の3つのアプリは9月30日をもって利用不可となり、10月1日からは新たなアプリをダウンロードする必要がある。

10月から、スマートフォンやPC、タブレットのブラウザを通じて閲覧できるNHKのWebサイトは「NHK ONE」に集約。あわせて、アプリも新たなものに刷新される。放送番組の配信やニュースサイトなど、NHKが行なうインターネット活用業務を“必須業務”とすることを定めた改正放送法を受け、新たなサービスとしてリニューアルされる。
新アプリは新「NHKプラス」「NHK ONE ニュース防災」「NHK ONE for School」。10月1日からダウンロード可能になる。また、NHKプラスアプリはテレビ版もリニューアル対象となる。
Webサイトも「NHK ONE」に集約。現行のNHKプラス、NHK NEWS WEB、各番組のホームページなどを「NHK ONE」のWebサイトに集約し、現行のWebサイトの閲覧は9月30日までとなり、URLも変更される。
10月1日以降は、「利用にあたって」画面の表示がスタート。ラジオ関連サービスを除くNHK ONEのサービス(同時・見逃し配信やニュース記事など)にアクセスすると、「ご利用にあたって」という画面が表示され、この画面以降のサービスには受信契約が必要であることを視聴者に伝える。そのうえで、【サービスの利用を開始する】ボタンを押すと、すぐサービスを利用可能になる。
なお、NHK ONEのすべてのサービスを利用するには、アカウント登録が必要となる。アカウントを登録することで、1つのアカウントにつき5つのプロファイル設定が可能になるほか、気になる番組を「マイリスト」に登録したり、移動中スマホで見たドラマを帰宅後テレビアプリで「続きから」見たりできるようになる。なお、アカウントは「世帯でひとつ」作成し、アカウントは家族で共有するよう呼びかけている。
また、「NHK ONE」のスタートに合わせて、NHKの医療・健康番組で紹介した情報をわかりやすくまとめたサイト「NHK ONE医療・健康」を開設予定。
さらに、NHKマスコットキャラクターの「どーもくん」も新しい「NHK ONE どーもくん」が誕生。様々なバージョンで展開する。
