デジタル庁は、令和8年熊本地震による罹災証明書(り災証明書)のオンライン申請受け付けを開始した。罹災証明書は、災害によって住家に被害を受けた人の申請に基づき、市町村長が被害の程度を証明する書面。被災者生活再建支援金の給付や、税、保険料、公共料金の減免・猶予など、被災者向けの各種支援策を申請する際に必要となる。罹災証明書は、役所を訪問することなく、マイナンバーカードを利用し「マイナポータル」からの交付申請できる。なお、マイナポータルから申請できるかどうかは、自治体によって異なる。7月29日時点でオンライン申請に対応しているのは熊本市、八代市、宇土市など17の自治体。・熊本市・八代市・水俣市・山鹿市・菊池市・宇土市・上天草市・天草市・合志市・美里町・菊陽町・御船町・益城町・氷川町・芦北町・津奈木町・苓北町
