4月15日、イギリスの Get Lostは、ロータス「エリーゼS1」ベースのコンセプトモデル、「プロジェクト・サファリ」を発表した。
プロジェクト・サファリの特徴は、オフロード走行を意識したカスタマイズだ。足まわりには特別なサスペンションセットを採用し、車高を100mmアップ。ナンカン製のオールテインタイヤを組み合わせる。
ホイールアーチまわりも専用デザインとし、コクピット上部には新たにエアインテークも装備。灯火類は長方形のLEDヘッドライトに加え、ボンネット上に4連ランプを設置することで、本格的なラリーカーを彷彿とさせる。
搭載するエンジンは、本来のローバー製1.8リッター直列4気筒ガソリンではなく、別のものに換装されているという。ただし、詳細は明かされていない。
プロジェクト・サファリの市販化は不明。
