NEC、クッキー等の第三者提供の情報公開
日本電気株式会社（NEC）はクッキー等の第三者提供について、情報を公開した。6月下旬に「NEC セキュリティブログ」のフッタ部分にリンクが追加された。
NECでは、顧客のウェブ体験の向上や、顧客ごとにパーソナライズしたコンテンツ・広告の表示、アクセス解析による同社ウェブサイトの改善のために、クッキー等の端末識別子を利用して、顧客に関する利用者情報を収集し、外部事業者に送信している。
利用者情報等を送信している外部事業者は、Adobe Inc.やAkamai Technologies, Inc.、Amazon.com, Inc、Google LLC、LINEヤフー株式会社、Meta Platforms, Inc.、Microsoft Corporation、株式会社電通等の各社で、サービス数は65件。そのうち「広告・マーケティング」は52件、「アクセス解析」は6件、「必須」は4件、「同意管理」は1件、「機能性拡張」は2件となっている。
同社では該当サービスでのクッキーの利用を無効にしたい場合は、各サービス提供会社のオプトアウトページで設定するよう呼びかけている。
