大阪・関西万博「石川の日」復興の取り組み発信
大阪・関西万博の会場で、石川県は27日から能登半島地震と豪雨災害からの復興の取り組みを知ってもらうイベントを始め、多くの人でにぎわいました。
石川県は、地域の文化を発信するとともに地震と豪雨からの復興の取り組みを広く知ってもらおうと、万博会場に27日から5日間、「石川の日」と銘打った特設ブースの出展を始めました。
オープニングセレモニーでは、石川県の子どもたちによるダンスが披露されたあと、馳知事が「地震と豪雨で国内外から支援をいただき感謝します。石川県に来ていただけるようおもてなししたい」とあいさつしました。
会場では、イタリアで開かれたジェラートの大会で優勝した能登地方出身のジェラート職人 柴野大造さんの出張販売も行われ、訪れた人たちは長い列をつくり、甘くて冷たいジェラートを味わっていました。
また、地震や豪雨により去年の開催が中止となった能登地方・珠洲市の祭りも披露され、地元の人と観客が一緒に「えびす様」の人形を載せた燈籠山（とろやま）と呼ばれる巨大な山車を引いて楽しんでいました。
珠洲市の祭りの代表者の大丸高広さんは、「高さ16メートルの迫力ある燈籠山を見ていただき、今後能登半島の最先端の珠洲まで多くの人に来てもらえたらうれしい」と話していました。
