Meta、生成AIによる動画編集機能を公開
Metaは、生成AIを活用した動画編集機能をMeta AIアプリ、Meta.AI Webサイト、Editsアプリで提供開始した。この機能は、ユーザーが短編動画の服装、場所、照明、スタイルなどをプリセットされたAIプロンプトを使って簡単に変換することが可能。米国を含む12カ国以上で利用できる。

Metaの動画生成AIモデル「Movie Gen」から着想を得ており、AIによる動画生成および編集を同社アプリや製品全体に提供することを目標としている。今年の後半には、Meta AIと並行して、ユーザー自身のテキストプロンプトで動画編集できることを目指す。
誰でも高品質な動画編集が専門知識なしで行なえるように設計されており、Meta AIアプリ、Meta.AI Webサイト、またはEditsアプリに動画をアップロード後、50種類以上の編集プロンプトから選択し、10秒間の動画を期間限定で無料で変換できる。例えば、雨の日に撮影したビデオの照明を変更して幻想的な雰囲気にしたり、ビンテージコミックブックのイラストやラノベ風に変更したりできる。
編集された動画は、EditsアプリおよびMeta AIアプリからはFacebookとInstagramに、Meta AIアプリおよびMeta.AI WebサイトからはDiscoverフィードに直接共有できる。
