いわき信用組合 不正融資問題で立ち入り検査 加藤金融相
福島県のいわき信用組合が少なくとも247億円の不正融資を行っていた問題について、加藤金融担当大臣は、信用組合に対し、立ち入り検査を行っていることを明らかにしたうえで、事実関係の確認をさらに進める考えを示しました。
福島県いわき市に本店があるいわき信用組合では、不正な資金の流用が明らかになり、先週公表された第三者委員会の調査結果では、一般の顧客の名義を無断で使った口座などを通して不正な融資が行われ、その総額は少なくとも247億円にのぼるとされました。
加藤金融担当大臣は3日の閣議のあとの会見で、この問題に関して東北財務局が去年11月に報告を求めた際、信用組合が実際には行っていない内部調査を実施済みだとして事実と異なる報告をしたことを明らかにし、「当初から正確な報告がなされなかったことは極めて遺憾だ」と述べました。
信用組合に対しては東北財務局が先月29日、業務改善命令を出していますが、加藤大臣は立ち入り検査を行っていることも明らかにし、事実関係の確認をさらに進める考えを示しました。
加藤大臣は「経営管理態勢の抜本的な見直しを含め、組合の業務改善を強く指導するとともに、改善に向けた取り組みを厳しく確認、検証していきたい」と述べました。
