Square、事業データを分析するAIアシスタント「Square AI」
Squareは、対話型AIアシスタント「Square AI」を日本で提供開始した。料金は無料で、Squareを利用する事業者が対象。Squareの業務データを分析し、経営判断の支援などに活用できる。
Square AIは、Squareプラットフォームに組み込まれた対話型AIアシスタント。決済や売上管理を通じて蓄積された業務データを分析し、事業者が迅速に判断できるよう支援する。自然言語による質問で売上や業績データにアクセスできるほか、業績の傾向を可視化する機能を備える。
同社の調査によると、日本の中小企業ではAIの認知は進んでいるものの、活用は限定的な状況にある。AIを活用していると回答した企業は35.2%だったが、定期的に活用している企業は19.2%にとどまった。また、中小企業の経営者は事業データの分析に週平均3.66時間を費やしているという。
分析では、売上データと季節要因や地域イベントなどの文脈情報を組み合わせて確認可能。さらに、Squareの各機能の使い方について案内を受けることもできる。レポート機能を開かずに、自社データへ直接アクセスできる点も特徴とする。
同サービスは「Square データ」から利用でき、Square データアプリまたはWebを通じてアクセスする。場所を問わず事業データに基づく判断材料を確認できるという。追加のシステム導入や複雑な連携作業は不要で、既存の業務フローの中で利用できる設計とした。
