福岡・大分県境の山国川 中学1年の男子生徒が溺れて死亡
6日夕方、福岡県と大分県の間を流れる川で、中学生の男子生徒が溺れ、救助されましたが、死亡しました。
6日午後4時ごろ、福岡県上毛町と大分県中津市の間を流れる山国川で、「12歳から13歳くらいの男性が流されてあがってこない」と、近くにいた人から消防に通報がありました。
警察と消防が捜索した結果、通報からおよそ30分後に川の中から中津市に住む中学1年生の平原希龍さん（12）を救助し、病院に搬送しましたが、死亡が確認されました。
警察によりますと、当時、同級生たちと一緒に川に向かって岩の上から滑っていたということで、警察は川に入った際に溺れたとみて当時の状況を詳しく調べています。
