山口 米軍岩国基地で騒音伴う離着陸訓練 終了予定20分超える
アメリカ軍は山口県にある岩国基地で、大きな騒音を伴う戦闘機などの離着陸訓練を17日から始めました。岩国基地での実施は25年ぶりで、市や県などは実施しないよう求めていました。
この訓練はFCLPと呼ばれ、滑走路を空母の甲板に見立てて戦闘機などが着陸してすぐに離陸する「タッチアンドゴー」を繰り返し、大きな騒音が伴います。
アメリカ軍は17日午後から岩国基地でこの訓練を始め、基地の近くでは、午後1時半すぎからステルス戦闘機F35Cなどが旋回し、大きな音とともに離着陸する様子が確認できました。
この訓練は小笠原諸島の硫黄島で行われてきましたが、島の火山活動の影響で、25年ぶりに岩国基地で行われることになりました。
17日から今月26日まで、土日祝日を除いて、午後1時半から午後4時半の日中と、午後6時45分から午後9時45分までの夜間に行われる予定です。
しかし岩国市によりますと、17日の日中の訓練は予定の終了時間を20分ほど超えて行われたということです。
訓練をめぐって、岩国市や山口県などは、必要性を認める一方で住民の負担が大きいとして、国に対して、アメリカ側に実施しないよう強く求めてほしいと要請していました。
岩国市や山口県の担当者が回数など記録
岩国基地の北側にある滑走路まで数百メートルの堤防の上では17日午後、戦闘機などがタッチアンドゴーを繰り返している様子が確認できました。
近くでは岩国市や山口県の担当者が、双眼鏡を使いながらアメリカ軍の戦闘機などがタッチアンドゴーをした回数などを記録していました。
基地近くの自治会長“訓練は分散して”
岩国基地近くの旭第二自治会の為重英雄会長は「残念に思うのは、岩国だけで訓練を実施し、それ以外の基地も含めた分散型で訓練をやらなかったこと。我慢の限界もあるし、訓練をやってほしいわけではないが、訓練自体はやむをえないので、やるのであれば負担軽減のために分散してやってほしい」と話していました。
