東京ディズニーシー 来月の新エリアオープン前に報道陣に公開
千葉県浦安市の「東京ディズニーシー」で、映画「アナと雪の女王」などの世界を再現した新たなエリアが来月オープンするのを前に、報道陣に内部が公開されました。
公開されたのは「東京ディズニーシー」で来月6日にオープンする新たなエリア「ファンタジースプリングス」です。
広さはおよそ14万平方メートル、総工費はおよそ3200億円に上り、2001年の開業以来、最大規模の拡張だということです。
この中では、映画「アナと雪の女王」や「塔の上のラプンツェル」「ピーター・パン」の世界が再現され、大きな城や氷の宮殿がそびえ、水辺には海賊船が浮かぶなど幻想的な風景が広がっています。
アトラクションは新たに4つ設けられ、ボートに乗るなどしながら映画のストーリーや名シーンを追うことができます。
運営会社「オリエンタルランド」で新エリアの開発を担当した鈴木学さんは「東京ディズニーシーはランドと比べて規模が小さく、来場できるゲストの数が少なかったのですが、敷地が広くなったことで同じくらいまで来場できるようになります。広大なエリアの中に作り込まれた映画の世界を体験していただきたいです」と話していました。
