NATO高官 報復で周辺諸国攻撃のイランを非難 NATO軍の態勢強化
日本を訪れたNATO＝北大西洋条約機構のナンバーツーの高官がNHKのインタビューに応じ、アメリカとイスラエルによる軍事作戦に対する報復だとして周辺諸国への攻撃を続けるイランを厳しく非難したうえで、この地域のNATO軍の態勢を強化していると明らかにしました。
この中で、アメリカとイスラエルによる軍事作戦に対する報復だとしてイランが周辺諸国に攻撃を続けていることについて「イランが危険かつ無謀な行動を続けていることは明らかだ。近隣諸国を深刻な危険にさらしている」と述べ、厳しく非難しました。
そして、3月4日、NATO軍の部隊がイランから発射され加盟国のトルコに向かっていたミサイルを速やかに撃墜したと説明し、「NATO軍の態勢は強化され防空能力はより高いレベルに引き上げられている」と述べ、この地域の態勢を強化していると明らかにしました。
一方、中東情勢の緊迫化でロシアによる軍事侵攻が続くウクライナへの支援が弱まるのではないかと懸念が出ていることについては「中東の今の状況を踏まえれば軍備の需要が高まることは明らかだ。しかし、ウクライナへの支援が弱まることはない」と強調しました。
そのうえでヨーロッパとインド太平洋地域の安全保障は不可分だという認識を示し、防衛産業での日本との協力強化に期待を示しました。
