Cloudflare OSは、同社内でグローバルの従業員が使うプラットフォームとして開発され、日々の業務のための、リサーチや、データに接続されたドキュメント作成、繰り返しの作業の自動化などの機能を提供。今回のこの仕組みをオープンソースとして公開し、自社のCloudflareアカウント内で稼働可能とした。
これにより、構築した成果物は組織自身のものとなり、企業のプロセスや業務のコンテキスト、社内システムとの連携が、特定のベンダー製品に縛られることなく利用可能となるという。
ブラウザベースのワークスペースとして、AIを活用したリサーチやドキュメント作成に対応するほか、データベースやリアルタイム機能、アクセス制御を備えた社内アプリの提供などが行なえる。
