TOEIC不正事件 “解答伝える役割の人物ほかにもいた可能性”
英語能力テスト「TOEIC」の都内複数の試験会場で、不正に受験しようとしたとして中国人大学院生が逮捕された事件で、警視庁は大学院生がほかの受験者に小型マイクなどで解答を伝えようとしていたとみて捜査しています。一方、解答を伝える役割の人物がほかにいた可能性があり、大学院生の逮捕後も不審な申し込みの受験者が相次いでいて、警視庁が詳しく調べています。
京都大学大学院生で中国籍の王立坤容疑者は、ことし5月とことし3月、TOEICの板橋区と新宿区の試験会場で偽名を使うなどして受験しようとした疑いで逮捕されていますが、ことし2月、北区の会場でも不正に受験しようとした疑いで30日再逮捕されました。
調べに対し、黙秘しているということです。
警視庁は王容疑者が逮捕時に所持していた小型マイクやメガネ型の電子端末を使ってほかの受験者に不正に解答を伝えようとしていたとみています。
これまでの調べで解答を伝える役割を担う人物が王容疑者のほかにも会場にいた可能性があり、容疑者の逮捕後に行われた試験でも70人以上の中国人が同じ住所で申し込みを行うなど不審な点がみられるということです。
これらの受験者の一部は実際にイヤホンやカメラを持って試験会場に現れ、「中国のSNSで、業者を通じておよそ5万円で申し込んだ」などと話しているということで、警視庁は高得点を求める受験者や解答役を募集して不正な受験を行わせる業者が存在するとみて実態を調べています。
