不適切な土地の利用による住民とのトラブルなどを防ぐため、国土交通省の有識者会議は土地を取得する際に届け出が必要となる対象を広げるべきなどとする提言をまとめました。

国土交通省は、不適切な土地の利用や外国人が土地を取得することへの懸念が広がっているとして有識者会議を設けて、土地を取得する際のルールを議論していました。

有識者会議が7日公表した提言によりますと、人口減少で土地へのニーズが低下していることを背景に、全国各地で住宅地に近い空き地にスクラップや土砂などが投棄され、周辺に悪影響を及ぼしている例が確認されていると指摘しています。

このため、都道府県などに届け出が必要となる面積をこれまでより引き下げることや土地の利用目的を変えた場合は再び届け出を求めるなど、規制を強化すべきだとしています。

また、海外に住む人が土地を取得する場合は、連絡がとりにくくなるリスクがあるとして、日本国内での連絡先や国内にいる管理者などの登録を求めるなどの対策も検討する必要があるとしています。

国土交通省は、今回の提言を受けて関連する法律の改正も含めて制度の見直しを検討することにしています。
