建替中の東阪急ビル、ガラス型ペロブスカイト太陽電池を国内初実装へ

阪急電鉄と阪急阪神不動産は、「(仮称)東阪急ビル建替計画」で建設中のオフィスビルの外装の一部に、パナソニックホールディングスが開発した「ガラス型ペロブスカイト太陽電池」(ガラス型PSC)を実装する。ガラス型PSCを新築オフィスビルの外装に実装するのは国内初の取組み。建設中のオフィスビルでは、ガラス型PSCを最上階の10階に設けたバルコニーの手摺りに実装する。手摺り部分は高さ1.4m、幅33mで、18枚のガラス型PSCで構成される。設置後には効果が検証され、阪急阪神ホールディングスグループが今後手掛ける開発案件や改修計画で「太陽電池の新たな活用法」を検討していく。この建設中のオフィスビルはすでに、高い環境性能を備えた新築オフィスビルとしてZEB Ready認証やDBJ Green Building認証(プラン認証)で最高ランクの5つ星を取得済み。2025年10月に新築工事に着手し、現在は杭工事を行なっている。完成時期は2027年12月の予定。日本発の技術であるペロブスカイト太陽電池(PSC:Perovskite Solar Cell)は、従来のシリコン太陽電池に迫る発電効率を実現しながら、「ペロブスカイト構造」を持つ発電層原材料をインク状に塗布・印刷できることで、設置の自由度を大幅に高めているのが特徴。各社が実用化や社会実装に向けて取り組んでいる。パナソニックが開発したガラス型PSCは、建材ガラスが基板で、そのガラスに発電機能を一体化したもの。大きさや透過性、デザインはカスタマイズ可能で、建物の外装や共用部など、これまで太陽電池の設置が難しかった場所にも導入できる。
