旧東ドイツのザクセン・アンハルト州で6日、州議会選挙が行われ、開票作業が進められています。

公共放送ZDFが日本時間の7日朝5時半ごろに伝えた得票率の見通しによりますと、移民や難民に排他的な政策を掲げ極右団体に認定された政党「ドイツのための選択肢」が前回5年前の選挙から23.4ポイント多い44.2％で、第1党になるのは確実な情勢です。

これに対し、与党で中道右派の「キリスト教民主同盟」は、19.7ポイント減らし、17.4％にとどまる見通しです。

得票率が5％未満の政党は議席を得られず、「ドイツのための選択肢」が単独で過半数に達するかどうかが焦点です。

ワイデル共同党首は地元メディアに対し、「歴史的な結果だ」と喜びを表したうえで、「われわれには政権を担う明確な信任がある。どの政党とも協力する」と述べ、州での政権獲得に意欲を示しました。

極右団体に認定された政党が州の政権を担うことになれば、第2次世界大戦後、ナチス時代の反省から寛容さや多様性を重んじてきたドイツでは初めてとなります。
