“高速制限速度10キロ引き下げ” 石油消費抑える対策提言 IEA
イラン情勢を受けたエネルギー価格高騰への懸念が高まっているとして、IEA＝国際エネルギー機関は各国の政府や企業などに向けて石油の消費量を抑えるための対策をまとめ、提言しました。
IEAは20日に公表した報告書で、加盟国が過去最大規模の石油備蓄の放出で合意したものの「需要側の対応もエネルギー安全保障に重要だ」として各国の政府や企業、家庭向けの10項目の対策をまとめました。
このうち、世界の石油需要のおよそ45％を占める道路輸送に関連する項目では、高速道路の制限速度を少なくとも時速10キロ引き下げて燃料の削減につなげることや、バスや列車などの公共交通機関の利用、それに、可能な場合は在宅勤務を行うことなどを提言しています。
このほか、ジェット燃料の削減に向け、代わりの手段がある際には出張での航空機の利用を避けることなどをあげています。
IEAのビロル事務局長は「中東の戦争は深刻なエネルギー危機を引き起こしている。迅速な解決がなければエネルギー市場と経済への影響はより深刻化する」として、提言した対策を実施すれば影響を軽減できると強調しています。
