木原官房長官は、熊本城を視察したあと記者団に対し、国が宿泊代の一部を補助する「応援割」を念頭に、観光需要を喚起する具体策を来週にもとりまとめる支援パッケージに盛り込む考えを示しました。

21日から熊本地震の被災地を訪れている木原官房長官は22日午前、熊本城を視察しました。

この中では熊本市の大西市長から、地震の被害で一時有料エリアが休園となったものの今月8月13日から一般公開を再開したことなどについて説明を受けました。

視察のあと木原官房長官は記者団に対し、熊本県をはじめ九州各地で宿泊施設などのキャンセルが相次いでいることに関連して「過剰な自粛を招かないよう宿泊施設や観光施設の運営や営業について正確な情報発信を行うとともに、観光復興や九州地域全体の誘客に資するプロモーションを実施していきたい」と述べました。

その上で、国が宿泊代の一部を補助する「応援割」を念頭に、観光需要を喚起する具体策を来週にもとりまとめる支援パッケージに盛り込む考えを示しました。
