Lime、利用者がバッテリー交換できるステーション 国内初
電動モビリティシェアサービスを展開するLimeは27日、一般利用者が自らバッテリーを交換できる「バッテリースワップステーション」の運用を沖縄県・那覇市内で開始した。設置場所は「パレットくもじ」と「糸嶺会館」の2カ所。

電動モビリティのシェアサービスにおいて、一般利用者向けにバッテリー交換ステーションを設けるのは国内初。バッテリー交換を行なった利用者には、30分間の無料乗車特典が付与される。
新たに設置されたバッテリースワップステーションは、電動モビリティのバッテリーをその場で交換できる専用スタンド。従来は運営スタッフが行なっていた交換作業を、利用者自身が行なえるようにすることで、充電待ちの時間を省き、すぐに走行を再開できるようにした。パレットくもじでは7時～24時、糸嶺会館では24時間(災害時を除く)利用可能となっている。
同社は4月に大阪・関西万博のスタッフ向けにバッテリー交換ステーションを導入しているが、一般ユーザー向けの展開は今回が初。対象となる車両は特定小型原動機付自転車で、ユーザーはLimeアプリを通じてバッテリー残量を確認し、交換手続きを行なう。
今後は、那覇市内での導入を皮切りに、全国主要都市での展開も視野に入れるとしている。
