高校野球 夏の甲子園 地方大会が沖縄で開幕 全国でトップ切る
8月5日から甲子園球場で行われる夏の全国高校野球の代表校を決める地方大会が、14日、全国のトップを切って沖縄で開幕しました。
沖縄大会の開会式は、14日午前9時ごろから沖縄セルラースタジアム那覇で行われ、出場するすべての学校の選手が参加しました。
選手宣誓は、小禄高校のキャプテン新崎康楠選手が行い「沖縄県はことし戦後80年の時を迎えます。先人たちの平和に対する強い思いとたくさんの苦労があったからこそ私たちは平和で不自由なく野球をできていることを忘れてはいけません。最後まで全力で戦いどこよりも熱い最高の夏にすることを誓います」と力強く述べました。
その後、早速1回戦の試合が始まり、選手たちがはつらつとプレーしていました。
64校58チームが参加することしの沖縄大会は、熱中症対策のため1回戦の日程を1日増やし、1つの球場の試合数をこれまでの「3」から「2」に減らして行われます。
沖縄大会は、順調に日程が進めば7月13日に決勝が行われ、全国で最も早く代表校が決まります。
