YouTube、オンラインギャンブル規制を強化 言及もNG
YouTubeは、オンラインギャンプル コンテンツについてのポリシーを3月19日に改定する。Googleの承認を受けていないギャンブルサイトやアプリへの誘導禁止を強化する。
現行のポリシーにおいても、Googleの承認を受けていないギャンブルサイトやアプリへの誘導は禁止されている。加えて今後は、URL、画像やテキストに埋め込まれたリンク、視覚的な表示(ロゴを含む)、口頭での言及も含まれる。また、オンラインギャンブル サイトやアプリがGoogleによって承認されているかどうかにかかわらず、確実な収益を約束するコンテンツは削除される可能性がある。
日本においては、現状オンラインカジノ等は違法となっている。そのため、オンラインギャンブルサイト等に誘導する方法はすべて禁止とされる。
なお、コミュニティ ガイドラインに違反していなくても、オンラインカジノサイトやアプリの描写や宣伝を行なっているコンテンツには年齢制限が設けられることがある。
Googleでは、今回の変更について「コミュニティ、特に未成年の視聴者を保護するために必要なステップ」と説明している。
