政府 赤澤経済再生相の訪米案を伝達 関税措置めぐり今月末から
アメリカ、トランプ政権の関税措置をめぐり、政府は、赤澤経済再生担当大臣が4月末の30日から3日間の日程でワシントンを訪れ、ベッセント財務長官らとの2回目の閣僚交渉を行う案を与党に伝えました。アメリカ側と調整がつけば、2回目の交渉は日本時間の5月1日に行われる見通しです。
アメリカ、トランプ政権の関税措置をめぐり、日米両政府は、赤澤経済再生担当大臣とベッセント財務長官らとの2回目の閣僚交渉の実施に向けて調整を進めています。
そして日本政府は、赤澤大臣が4月末の30日から3日間の日程でワシントンを訪れ、交渉を行う案を与党に伝えました。
アメリカ側と調整がつけば、交渉は日本時間の5月1日に行われる見通しです。
初回の交渉では、アメリカ側が関税措置の見直しをめぐって「日本だけを特別扱いすることはできない」として、否定的な認識を示していたことが分かっていて、赤澤大臣は次回、改めて見直しを強く求め、協議の対象とすることを確認したい考えです。
また、アメリカ側が貿易赤字の解消を目指していることを踏まえ、政府は、自動車や農産物、エネルギーといった幅広い分野での輸入拡大を検討していて、具体的に議論を進めていく分野が絞り込めるかが焦点となります。
