　個人情報保護委員会は7月7日、「個人情報保護委員会令和7年度年次報告」を公表した。

　同報告は、個人情報保護法第168条において、「委員会は、毎年、内閣総理大臣を経由して国会に対し所掌事務の処理状況を報告するとともに、その概要を公表しなければならない。」と規定されていることを踏まえ、令和7（2025）年度の委員会の所掌事務の処理状況を取りまとめたもの。

　同会では、個人情報保護法等に関する事務として、下記の通り個人情報取扱事業者等に対する監督と行政機関等に対する監視を行っている。また、勧告・命令事案として、名簿業者である有限会社ビジネスプランニングと株式会社中央ビジネスサービスの事案を紹介している。

・個人情報取扱事業者等に対する監督漏えい等事案に関する報告の処理：17,139件報告徴収：19件指導及び助言：455件勧告：2件命令：1件

・行政機関等に対する監視漏えい等事案に関する報告の処理：2,278件資料提出の求め：57件実地調査等：51件指導及び助言：194件

　同会では、マイナンバー法に関する事務として、下記の通り監督等を行っている。また、埼玉県所沢市に対し、保有個人情報及び個人番号の安全管理措置（個人情報保護法第66条第1項・マイナンバー法第12条）の不備等について指導等を行った事案を紹介している。
