　独立行政法人情報処理推進機構（IPA）および一般社団法人JPCERT コーディネーションセンター（JPCERT/CC）は5月11日、Ollamaにおける境界外の読み取りおよび書き込みの脆弱性について「Japan Vulnerability Notes（JVN）」で発表した。影響を受けるシステムは以下の通り。

Ollama

　ローカル環境で大規模言語モデル（LLM）を実行するためのオープンソースツール Ollamaには、モデル量子化エンジンにおけるGGUFファイルの検証不備に起因して、ヒープメモリの境界外読み取りおよび境界外書き込みの脆弱性が存在し、モデルのレイヤに書き込まれたヒープメモリのデータが、OllamaのレジストリAPIを通じて漏えいする可能性がある。

　想定される影響としては、モデルのアップロードインターフェースにアクセス可能な遠隔の第三者によって、細工されたGGUFファイルをアップロードされ、サーバのヒープメモリの読み取りや書き込みをされる可能性がある。

　CERT/CCでは、ワークアラウンドの適用を推奨しており、詳細はCERT/CCが提供する情報を確認するよう案内している。
