沖縄 不発弾爆発事故 アメリカ製 対戦車りゅう弾 信管が爆発か
9日、沖縄県読谷村にある不発弾を一時保管する施設で爆発があり、自衛隊員4人がけがをした事故で、県は自衛隊から、爆発したのはアメリカ製の「75ミリ対戦車りゅう弾」の信管部分の可能性があると説明を受けたと発表しました。
9日、アメリカ軍の「嘉手納弾薬庫地区」の敷地内にある県が管理する不発弾の一時保管庫で小規模な爆発が起き、現場にいた自衛隊員4人がけがをしました。
この事故について県は10日に陸上自衛隊から説明を受け、その内容を発表しました。
それによりますと爆発したのはアメリカ製の「75ミリ対戦車りゅう弾」の起爆装置にあたる信管部分だった可能性があるということです。
信管は不発弾が見つかった現場で取り除くこともありますが、この砲弾は、すぐに爆発する危険性は低いと判断され、リスクが低いとみられる不発弾を一時保管する保管庫にそのまま移動させていたということです。
事故当時は、自衛隊の不発弾処理を専門とする部隊の隊員たちが民間の委託業者に渡すため、不発弾の仕分けを行おうと、弾を識別する目的で表面のよごれを除去する作業にあたっていました。
けがをした隊員のうち、左手にけがをした男性隊員は入院しているものの、ほかの3人は部隊に復帰したということで、県によりますとすでに計画されている不発弾の処理作業は予定どおり実施されるということです。
陸上自衛隊は事故調査委員会を設けて事故の原因を詳しく調べています。
