ナイキ「エア フォース 1 “Easter Basket”」は、バスケットのような編み込みテクスチャーに注目！──GQ新着スニーカー
ナイキは「エア フォース 1 “Easter Basket”」をリリースする。
日本ではあまり馴染みのないキリスト教の祝祭日、イースター（復活祭）を記念してドロップされる「エア フォース 1 “Easter Basket”」だが、アメリカ人にとっては見覚えのあるモチーフでいっぱいだ。

アメリカではこの時期、いわゆる「エッグハント」が行われ、各家庭では大人たちが卵の形をしたチョコレートを隠し、バスケットを持った子どもたちがそれを探し出すのが慣例だ。「エア フォース 1 “Easter Basket”」には、そのチョコレートの包み紙によく見られるカラーリングや、バスケットを模したテクスチャーが取り入れられている。
素材は通常通りレザー製だが、籐を編んだような風合いのライトブラウンのアンダーレイに、なめらかなオーバーレイが重ねられている。
また、スウッシュにはミディアムブルー、ヒールにはメタリックグリーン、シューレースにはミントグリーンがあしらわれ、チョコレートのようなダークブラウンのライニングとのコントラストを生み出している。青々としたインソールも、バスケットの中によく入っている草を模したものだ。
ナイキ「エア フォース 1 “Easter Basket”」は4月17日以降、ナイキのウェブサイトおよび一部の小売店にて約130ユーロ（約2万1000円）で発売される予定。日本ではナイキのアプリ「SNKRS」で4月17日（木）午前9時から発売予定。価格は1万9800円（税込）。
