Google AI Studio、Firebase機能統合でWebアプリ開発強化

Googleは19日(米国時間)、開発者ツールの「Google AI Studio」を強化し、バイブコーディング(vibe coding)体験をアップグレードした。コーディングエージェントのための「Antigravity」と「Firebase」のバックエンド環境を統合し、実用的なWebアプリ開発環境に強化する。 これにより、プロンプトからのWebアプリ開発を本番環境対応のアプリケーションまで一貫した環境で開発可能となり、マルチプレーヤー体験や外部ライブラリのインストール、安全なログイン方法の提供など、AIネイティブなアプリを開発できるようにする。 アプリにデータベースやログイン機能が必要になった場合は、Firebase統合を承認すると、それぞれの追加が可能。モダンWeb向けの開発やGoogle マップや決済サービス、データベースなど、実サービスとの連携にも対応可能となる。AntigravityとFirebaseの機能を取り込むことで、複数のサービスを跨がずに、Google AI Studioでほとんどの作業を完結できるようにする。なお、Firebase Studioは単体での提供を終了予定で、2027年3月22日までは引き続き利用できる。 開発の実例として、リアルタイムマルチプレイヤーゲーム、リアルタイムコラボレーション、物理演算とゲームデザイン、レシピの生成とカタログ化などを紹介している。 Firebase now integrates with @GoogleAIStudio, accelerating your path from prompt to production 💫 With a single prompt, you can build full-stack apps connected to Firestore for secure storage and Firebase Authentication for user identity. pic.twitter.com/Wh0PSubpEz — Firebase (@Firebase) March 19, 2026
