広島 庄原 約700年前から伝わる「比和牛供養田植」披露
広島県庄原市にある国営備北丘陵公園で、およそ700年前から伝わる伝統の「比和牛供養田植」（ひわ・うしくようだうえ）が披露されました。
国営備北丘陵公園では地元の伝統文化の継承に取り組んでいて、25日は農耕に使う牛や馬を供養し豊作を祈願する庄原市比和町の伝統行事、「比和牛供養田植」が園内の田んぼで行われました。
田植えをしたのは比和町郷土芸能振興会のおよそ50人で、はじめに色とりどりの帯やくらで着飾った3頭の牛が田んぼに入って、土を細か砕く「代かき」という作業が行われました。
このあと訪れた家族連れなどが見守る中、かすりの着物にすげがさ姿の早乙女たちが田んぼに入り、歌や太鼓のリズムにあわせて苗を植えていきました。
田植えを見た三次市の女性は「音に合わせてリズミカルに植えるところがすごいと思いました」と話していました。
比和町郷土芸能振興会の若林隆志会長は「大勢のお客さんの前で発表できてよかったです。700年の歴史ある芸能を見て感動してもらえればうれしいです」と話していました。
